The Konstantinos G. Karamanlis Foundation is an important center for the preservation of historical memory and the advancement of scientific research. It is a private, not for profit foundation under the Greek law. Its archives illuminate the work of Konstantinos Karamanlis while enriching the historical knowledge on postwar Greece.

The making of the Foundation, with the consent and support of Konstantinos Karamanlis himself, was a pioneering initiative for the promotion of the in-depth study of contemporary Greece. The Foundation is very active through its numerous publications, electronic and digital infrastructure, public events in Greece and abroad and the support of the Constantine G. Karamanlis Chair in Hellenic and European Studies at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in Boston.
